You can totally do that on a treadmill. As a matter of fact I did it just last week
Seriously though I take your point. I think overall outdoor running (or parkour, or other sports) should be where you get the majority of your cardio. However, I still think (at least for me anyway) that the treadmill is good for increasing your running speed as you can force yourself to run faster. You can’t do that outside.
Very cool indeed. I would love to have that workout as a pre-training exercise for my karate dojo…..
