Great ideas Vic! I always pre cook all my chicken for the week and do similar things with it as well. Need to get me one of those fancy woks you have though..thats nice!
Great idea’s Vic. I’ve never ever thought of precooking chicken for the week. That spinach salad looks delish with all the different colours. Spose you could do it with cold salmon or prawns too
Great ideas. Like I posted earlier, I used Coconut Oil (cold pressed) to fry in, and add home-made almond butter at the end with tomatoes. ANYTHING I add it to after is just damn good.
So, some “critiquing” . I’d like to have you make some comments as you are cutting and frying up the chicken. I turned up the volume on my computer just to be sure I wasn’t missing something! A little “intro” would be nice.
You only cooked up one chicken breast. How much do you eat for a meal, 2oz? 3oz? One whole breast? So some ideas of how many you cook up for the week would be helpful.
Hey Vic,
The recipes look and sound awesome! I’m going to try these. I picked a bad time to watch this video though LOL (I’m in the middle of a fast). Sometimes what I like to make as a tasty lunch or dinner is a Quesadilla with stir-fried chicken, sometimes ground taco meat, cheese, peppers, onions, and sometimes tomatoes and then I fry all that in olive oil. Sometimes I add sauce. I really like eating this when I can’t think of anything else because I always have these ingredients.
Excellent idea. The salad I eat a lot. Found a new awesome Poppyseed dressing to put on it. I really like the broccoli supper. Thanks for the insentives. I recently got a Wii and have started using it everyday to workout. I feel stronger already and these food ideas help a lot.
Hey Vic, hope you’re enjoying the snow. I like the food posts and had a thought. Can you set up a permanent area on your site where we can post recipes and share? I bet many people fail because the human body can eat only so many plain chicken breasts before they go insane. I really enjoy cooking and have been working on creating clean recipes/meals that are far from boring, but not everyone is so inclined.
Oh yes, my golden retriever Coda loves the snow. So that means I love the snow.
As much as I like your idea of setting up a place for readers to post recipes, I’m afraid I have programmers working on too many “other” projects at this time.
I like the chicken and broccoli idea for dinner, but whats something else you might recommend instead of walnuts? I am unfortunately allergic a large variety of nuts, peanuts, and some grains. Thank you! Great ideas.
sometimes like to have grilled chicken on a slice of rye bread with some mustard too.
Love the lettuce wrap idea. One I will definitely be using this week. Thank you.
You’re welcome. Enjoy.

Perhaps raw sunflower or sesame seeds if you are not allergic?
Hi Vic,
If I cook chicken on a Sunday night (fried or grilled) cool it and store it in the fridge; how long is it safe to keep it there?
thanks
Mark
Alright the former lawyer in me hesitates to give a firm answer. . . I will say that the chicken I cook on Sunday has never made me sick on Friday.
Great video. I have done the same thing you did with chicken and broccoli but instead of chicken, I have used shrimp….delicious!
