I dont know if I came off as projecting women as the dainty or weaker sex. Thats not what I meant at all. Women are differant thats all. I hate the whole battle-of-the-sexes, gender equality issues etc etc. Women are differant. Full-stop. Never wanted to prove anything to anyone, I'm happy doing my own thing.

Thanks for the sentiment Sangita. However, I am a chick and I would prefer to not be on an exclusive site. Everything here can apply to me too. Just add specific content where appropriate (IF neccessary). Don't divide your attention between two sites. I find Vic's stuff motivating as hell. I don't want my gym watered down. I used to be the only one in the gym getting all red in the face and feeling self-concious about it (all 5'2" of me). Maybe Vic's strategies will help get more grunting, read face, no spandex, didn't do my hair, lifters out there (male or female). Thanks Vic.

ok Vic great stuff as usual. Loved the point - Pay the price the best. Too many of my friends also crib about how tough their life is. I feel like screaming and telling them you are doing it for yourself - to make your life better not anyone else's so quit using my shoulder as a head rest.
When is a similar blog exclusively for women coming? I sometimes feel that most of the motivational stuff out there is for men. Like only they want to achieve things. Women do too you know.

#3 of Train like a warrior... I have a comment on this. I lift at a gym that isn't quite a globo gym type, but it is by no means a gym where people challenge themselves. The funny thing is, I throw in my headphones and completely zone out everyone in there. It's almost comical, I'm the only person in the gym who does burpees and when I do them, I get looked at like a lab rat.

But in spite of it all, I still manage to train hard in under an hour. So it's possible to train hard even in a gym that isn't helping, but you've got to be dedicated and confident in yourself.

Great post!

All the Best,

I too need to start paying the price more this year. I've been wanting to get back into my running for a couple of months now and the best time for me to do this is in the mornings before work. However, there's a lot of mornings where I have just reached for the snooze button and slept for that extra hour. I know the cost of getting better at running is to get up extra early but as you rightly say I haven't so far been willing to pay the price on a consistent basis.
