How to Videos
by Vic Magary

Hope you liked the video, I think time is an element we all seem to deal with, especially when it comes to finding time to workout and eat right.

BTW if you’re worried about pigging out over the holidays and gaining a bunch of unwanted body fat, I recommend you check out my friend Joel Marion’s Cheat Your Way Thin Holiday Program.

He’s actually strategically mapped everything out so that you can have your cheat meals during the big American holidays.  It’s such a good idea, and a great nutrition plan that I fully endorse.

So if you want to lose weight this holiday season instead of putting on 10-15 lbs, make sure you check that out today…. (as a disclaimer, yes I do get a few bucks if you buy his product through that link.  That money helps to keep this site up and running!)

Great video. I really enjoy the videos you do about nutrition. Time is definitely something we seem to never have enough of.

My quick lunch idea is a handful of pecans, a can of chicken breast (white meat), and some sort of fruit. I really have a hard time doing tuna, and I think the can of chicken is a good alternative for those who can’t do the tuna.

Another idea and I am sure you’ve said it before Vic, is to hard boil a bunch of eggs once a week. It only takes 12 minutes and gives you quick meals for when you don’t have time to cook.

Yes, the canned chicken and hard boiled eggs are both fine alternatives. And your quick lunch idea is great!

Vic,

Just a few comments.

1) Do you not lose a tremendous amount of weight? There are like no carbs in that diet, and you do a ton of calories. How can you not drop like 2-3 pounds on a week of eating no bread and mainly nuts and salad with some pre bought chicken (which is very low carb)?

2) How about eggs? Ray mentioned this and you’ve probably said this before, but why not buy some eggs? It takes so little effort to make them that it doesn’t even really count.

Otherwise, great video, especially for us bachelors who can’t cook well at all.

After my birthday, vacation, and Thanksgiving, I could afford to lose 2 – 3 lbs a week for a while. :)

Seriously, I lean more and more toward the “paleo” or “primal” diet as time goes on and believe grain based carbohydrate are unnecessary (harmful perhaps) unless you are a long distance endurance athlete.

And eggs are a fine choice. Personally the only way I eat them is scrambled, but that’s just a taste preference. Hard boiled is great fro convenience like you mentioned.

Thanks!
