Hey Vic, I’m not exactly following your program but YOU inspired me to get my butt in gear. I’m down from 167 to 158 @ 5′10″ in the last 2.5 weeks.
Damn! Way to go, Dean. I’m all about results, so what ever you’re doing – keep it up!
Paleo / Primal diet combined with some intermittent fasting on non training days seems to be working great
What ever works!
Come on people, almost done!!!!!!
I’m going for 20 lbs. Do you think I will make it?
It’s gonna be close for sure! John was a beast in the gym this week!
John,
Why the hell not!?! You can do it man.
Those clothes were looking a little loose that last weigh in. Keep it up and you’ll need a new wardrobe.

That’s funny because John actually wore a shirt on Wednesday that he hadn’t worn in “a while”.
Wow! I can’t call it John, but I hope you reach your goal. To lose 5lbs per week for 4 straight weeks is nothing short of a miracle!! lol
I’m rootin for ya!

hey vic, quick question. i just came across your site the other day and noticed the 31 day challenge and well, i’m a little late for may. i’m gonna start june 1st, will the section still be up? and what weight should i use? sorry for 20 questions
Will this section still be up? Well. . . that’s up in the air at this point. I will tell you it won’t come down on June 1st. But you might want to print out what ever workout you are going to follow to be safe.
As far as what weight to use, each exercise has a repetition guideline such as “use a weight that you can get 10 repetitions with”. Test the weight before you actually start the workout for that day.
I have lost at least 8 pounds (I say at least because I didn’t have a scale the first week and had to estimate) and I have lost 3 inches around my waist.
Awesome! Dropping your waist by 3 inches is incredible! Stay the course and finish the challenge strong!
Vic, as you know its been a battle for me and the strain and diet foe the last week + a couple days, but I am still right around 11 pounds. Not sure of specific size, but the pants are definitely looser around the waist. Strength has increased as well for sure!
IMO, more importantly, ive gained mental results in the form of nutritional knowledge and mental toughness thus far in the 31 day journey!
Thanks again!
-Mike
Good to hear, Mike. But the party’s not over. Still have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to go! Finish strong.
Vic, I love watching real people working hard and significantly improving. While I’m not following the shredded for summer plan, just watching the videos and reading the comments inspire me to kick it up at the gym. Thanks for putting this together!
And thank you for check out GymJunkies. Train Hard!
Definitely inspiring! Good luck everyone – last countdown. And, john, sure you can do it – and if not it won’t be for lack of trying!!!! Thanks again Vic.
Hey Vic,
You’re videos are really inspiring, I have been following the plan religiously for about 2 weeks, it will be a full 2 weeks this Monday
I’ve lost 14 lbs up till now! I am very happy with the results in just 2 weeks but I intend on keeping this up for another 4 weeks for a family reunion. I know the weight loss slows down after the first few weeks, so how much can I realistically expect to lose in the next 4 weeks? I know I can do this and not cheat at all, it feels great!
Wow! Congrats on your amazing weight loss! Stay focused and you’ll make such a big change that the family will barely recognize you at the reunion.
Awesome results! Obviously what you put in your mouth counts the most – but those workouts are killer! Keep kicking ass guys!
