I stare blankly at my computer screen.  Should I do another top 10 list?  ANOTHER ONE?

After posting for damned near two years I can’t help but feel like I’ve said everything that needs to be said.  The truth is that getting in top physical shape is simple.  Maybe it isn’t easy, but it damned sure doesn’t come down to any advanced mental gymnastics.

It really comes down to only three things. . .

  1. Eat real food.
  2. Train outside of your comfort zone.
  3. Recover.

What else can I say?

People want to make things difficult because theyre usually too lazy to try anything simple. theyd rather talk about how ‘confusing’ everything is.

In terms of awesome info…this is prob one of your bests posts yet.

Awesome.

Not to be a prick, but I think you’ve missed a step, the MOST important step, the one ordinary people have the most problems with …

4. REPEAT.

Well said. It boils down to these cold hard facts. These are the basics. The rest are details.

I’m in the same boat of not knowing what to write, and I’ve only been posting for a few months! lol

One idea I plan on implementing is to sit down and make a schedule for the next few months, and what topic to write about over those months. That way I can focus on research instead of trying to be creative all the time.

Keep it up! You’ve got a great site going :D

Dude— What’s going on?! I’ve noticed you’ve been doing more ads for others than for yourself. You’ve got a lot to share. Let’s step out of that comfort zone!

Vic – there are always new people that take the path of responsibility for their health… and life! So even if each new post is a variation of this list, it still means something.

Keep going strong man!

Amen. People would get more results nowadays if they just learned to master those simple rules…that and stop getting paralysis by analysis with info overload via the internet…just master the basics, shut off the computer and enjoy life I say!

Vic–

Keep it up Vic!

why is it so hard for peeps to aprehend this stuff?

When I tell people something like that they scoff and head off on a two hour bike ride and then eat cookies, chips and beer because they did their work out… ugh.

I think its the power of the media. We are like drones that just drink it in unquestioningly even if the results after years don’t line up.

Wow I often think folks think I am a nut job. But I look good and feel amazing, go figure…

That would be something great to put on a shirt…

Nice Vic!

This is EXACTLY why I love your site. No BS here. No pushing more and more “secrets of weight loss” at your fans, or trying to sell us excessive amounts of useless crap for personal gain. Nope, just straight-forward, honest advice.

After opening a copy of Health Magazine at the Doctor’s office a few months ago to discover that the “NEW Secret to Weight Loss!” was actually “exercise” (I don’t know how they got away with publishing that headline), it’s great to know I can come here for quick advice when I need it, but spend most of my time actually working out, not just reading about it.

You don’t need to come up with fresh new stuff. What you have is gold, and your honesty is a true gym in the world of fitness advice.

As a former member of the Armed Forces, you’ve just applied an old motto: KISS – Keep It Simple, Stupid!
Nice, short and straight to the point

Keep it up my friend, there is always something we can learn from, or at least a new way to make it clearer what we have already said :-)

Anyway, I’m sure I will still like to read you!

Have a nice weekend!

You could write a book on that 1st point.

But if you’d rather just read one, i suggest checking out “In Defense of Food” by Michael Pollan…great book, just eat “food”.

Hey Vic,

Sorry to hear that your will be leaving us at GymJunkies.
You always said it loud and true (just like in this post).

I hope that my own work will be as successful in two years time and that through LMD Fitness I can continue to share the fitness truths that people must hear…

All the best,

Luke
